Took a non-fiction class with him, and it was decent. He's a good guy and an interesting lecturer, until you realize that all of the things he's saying that you must or must not do with what you're writing apparently don't apply to his own work. He's one of those profs who'll make you read his stuff. But he IS engaging, and the material was good
