One of the best profs I've ever had! Inspired me to apply for Grad school. Single-handedly implements many of the changes that Huron needs to see. Fantastic at giving feedback and very detailed lectures. Make sure you do the readings and attend though, she can always tell when you don't.

Dr. Hubel comes off as very abrasive but is really very kind and willing to help out anyone who wants to help themselves you must do the work, though! She will push you to be better and challenge your thought process. She's an excellent person to have on your side and a wonderful mentor.

Hubel is one of the smartest people at Huron, and also one of the most fearless in her convictions. She has no time for people who don't bother to show up, and beware, you MUST do the reading! However, if you're committed to this university thing, you'll likely enjoy her classes. She's a fair grader, a great lecturer, and very funny! Always helpful

I intended on getting an English major, and this prof single handedly ran me out of the program with several fails (otherwise i get great grades). i challenged her early, and she never got off my back. she gave me 40% essays with barely any explanation, and even when i implemented her changes she still found ways to fail me. avoid at all costs!!!

Try to take as many classes as you can with Teresa. She's an excellent mentor. Although she is tough when it comes to marking essays, she gives detailed comments that have allowed me to improve my writing over time. Her lectures are fascinating and are delivered in a way that are useful and memorable when it comes to writing her exams.

probably my least favourite teacher/professor of all-time. she has favourites, kicks you when youre down, does a rather poor job grading, and is extremely boring to listen to when she rants in class, usually about stuff no one cares about.

As a professor, she is horrible. She introduces topics for "debate", however if the conversation begins to move in a direction she does not approve of, she will shut it down immediately, and not without cutting people off or jumping down their throats. Learned a lot from this class. She has her enemies--those who can't stomach progressive ideas, and at Huron there are many. If you are open to radical thinking, take her class.
