I love Dr. Berry. Easily one of the best professors I've ever had. He's so funny and his lectures are easy to listen to. Definitely recommend taking one of his classes. You can tell he really cares about his students.

If you actually want need to learn the material taught in research methods, DO NOT take his class!!! I honestly have never dreaded going to a class so much before this! Even though I earned an A, Prof. Berry did not prepare me for when I took my senior seminar. Do not take him for 301!

I LOVE HIS CLASS, some may not like his style, but I do - yes he rambles but his stories have a point - class seems easy since he curves exam scores. I recommend this class.

Dr. Berry loves to ramble. By the end of each lecture you will have to decipher through his personal life and important course material. You wont learn anything. Only a midterm and a final. If you can manage to pay attention to boring lectures then i would recommend this class.

Dr. Berry is great in Social Psychology. He goes on tangents alot and tells lots of stories about his kids, but if you go to every class and take notes you will get an A. I didn't even study for the last exam and got a 107. Great class!

I really like him as a person, but I can't stand the class. He rambles a lot, the tests will take no shorter than 3 hours MINIMUM, and you really don't have much creative freedom when it comes to the experiment and big paper. He teaches as if everyone wants to pursue the field of experimental psychology, which is definitely not the case.

Avoid him for 301 at all costs! The worst most miserable class I've had. I like him as a person but he was extremely frustrating as a professor. Constantly goes on irrelevant tangents. Tests are all essay and will take a minimum of 4 hours to complete. Majority of the class was there til 1am taking his tests. I am a straight A student and got a C!

Very interesting professor, very interesting class. I enjoyed Social Psychology. Dr. Berry tends to go off on tangents but they serve a purpose when it comes to the subject matter. His tests are fairly easy, but you have to study because his teaching is interactive, and he talks fast.

Very interesting professor. I enjoyed Social Psychology. I looked forward to going to his class all semester. He goes off on tangents about his life story but they all serve a purpose. Dr. Berry is the best teacher at cnu. Whatever everyone else says on this thing that is negative is absolutely false. He does expect you to learn alot, and you do. The exams all essays, and you must know your stuff. It's intimidating at first but you learn SO MUCH. He is why I am a psychology major. DEFINITELY TAKE DR. BERRY.

if you want to go to class on a mandatory attendance policy to get a lesson on this man's wife and how to be a good parent, then by all means take this. however, if you don't enjoy only taking a midterm and final for your grade (during which he wasn't even in class to answer any questions, he had a student sit in to watch us), avoid at all costs.

I definitely recommend this class to anyone...I've never taken a class that's so important to every day interactions and the way I view the world. Whether it's learning about prejudice or learning how to be a better partner, this class changes the way you behave and think. Berry is extremely helpful and straightforward and a great guy. A+++

Dr. Berry is a really nice guy and is very passionate about his job. I really have no idea what I was supposed to have learned in this class but I did learn some real life stuff. The tests aren't too hard and the papers are soo easy as long as you do it.
