Comment:

Thomas Tellefsen is by far the best professor at the college of staten island. He is a great guy who has a lot of experience in sale. He uses his personal experience to teach which is very useful. if you have any interest in the marketing field I highly recommend you take him as a professor.

Extremely smart and explains each topic in detail and gives real-life examples, and he's a really nice guy. 3 tests (Mult. choice, 2 out of 3 short essay)90%, participation 10% of grade. Tests are straight from the notes and TB pgs, he prints out list of topics on tests and their TB pgs. Only like 2 mult ch Qs from tb not covered in notes

He is the head of the marketing department so you should strictly adhere to his attendance policy. Very knowledgeable and articulate. Clearly emphasizes pages in the textbook for you to focus on. Only negative thing I will say is that he writes too much on the chalkboard. His handwriting can be difficult to read at times.

This guy is professional and knows what hes talking about. Just be prepared to sit through a boring ass lecture. He talks in his monotonous voice for 2 hours straight with no attempt to make it interesting. Knowledgeable person, dry personality.

The most professional prof. I have ever found in CSI. Nice presentation, looks professional, Neatly follows his lecturing schedule, begin and end lectures on time. grades reasonably. tips- take notes, show up everyday, go for the events he says to get extra credits, proof read the important topics from the syllabus,study the essays for the tests.

This guy is awesome!!!! writes all his notes on the board for you and also explains everything very clear. 3 tests about 35 m/c and 2 essays. just study your notes and you will be fine. One of the best teachers I've had at csi!!

I thought it was easy, until I took him. He seem like a nice guy, but I wouldn't take him again. Very hard for an "A" I have a GPA 3.75, after taking him, I drop all the way to 3.54. Not happy about him, Very tough grader !

I absolutely am so pleased with this professor! He assigns readings, but even if you're the type that normally doesn't read what you're supposed to, you'd still be safe. He breaks down everything during the class and I love that he doesn't rely on powerpoints to teach. He'd write everything on the board which gave me time to take good notes!

What can I say Professor T is a very nice,and helpful professor. But I have to say it is a very difficult course. We have to do this running a company/competition style things called the game. And depending on which place you get in it, that will be your grade, and it's worth 30%. 2 Exams are tough but fair. You have to do a presentation

He is nice, funny, and helpful, and a great teacher as he has real world exeprience. took him for MGT 416, and I definately think he is the better guy to take over depaulo. The class itself is a 400 level class so it can be tough, but if you put the effort in you'll earn an A
