Dr. Teo is one of the best professors at York University. He really cares about the material he teaches and actively encourages critical thinking via class discussions. His grading scheme makes you work for an A, but you can obtain it if you actually put in the effort. I highly recommend if you like discussions and critical thinking based courses.

I don't have anything against him. In fact I was intrigued by him as he's surprisingly smart. He's the smartest psychologist I've seen so far, but I think he is a high functioning sociopath.

I came out of the course with a better understanding of the history of psychology, and enjoyed having to hone my critical thinking skills. I would definitely recommend this course to any graduate student wanting to understand how psychology evolved into what it is today. Professor Teo is a fair marker but makes you work for your grade.

VERY rude and inconsiderate. has no personality. is quite monotone and boring. if you miss 2 classes or more, you have to write an essay for every class you miss. would NOT recommend this class

A very nice man - friendly, smart, and approachable (and sounds just Ah-nold Schwarnzenegger). I've had a great experience in his class. However, student presentations are too long and too boring. His class may feel like a lot of work, but it's easy to score in. Excellent professor.
