Prof Wright is a funny old guy, but there are flaws in his course. 1st, he made his tests in 1947, and they haven't changed, but his lectures have, meaning studying won't help on many quetions. 2nd, he talks too fast and too quietly, so note taking is hard. ALWAYS go studentnotes with this one. He is nice though, and the curve REALLY helps.

He is an amazing teacher. I took his class MUH2012 last semester and im taking his MUH2011 class this semester. He makes it fun and he's just so adorable. He's funny and he makes lecture interesting. Take this class if you get a chance!!! you'll love it.

mr. wright is a great teacher. the subject is boring but the tests are easy. i took notes and slept through all the music that he plays and got an A on the tests. you get 5 extra credit points for attendance. WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE THIS TEACHER!!

This class is definitely not the easy A that you hear about. If you go to class everyday, it will totally help you out in the end and will most likely make your grade go up a whole letter grade. I found the tests pretty hard and very detailed. You can't just get away with skimming the student notes, you must know the details.

In this class you do not write papers, you just turn your notes in at the end and get the gordon rule requirement. (count your words as you go so you aren't counting them all at the end.) Buy student notes for the tests!!! I loved him. He is the cutest old man!! He never failed to put a smile on my face when I saw him walk in each morning.

If you want an easy class to get rid of your gordon rule take him! You DO NOT write papers, the gordon rule is just the notes you take in class. The class sets the curve and if you go to class everyday you will get extra 5 points, and trust me it will help you. For my class the B grade ended in an 86 and I had an 86 before the attendance was added.

He's sooooo cute!!! It's not really an easy A, but you're able to get 5 points for going to class everyday, and the class average sets the grading scale. I never took notes in the class, I just bought student notes. Buy those and you'll do well on the tests.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE professor wright. he is absolutely amazing. he's really funny and a really good teacher. attendance is mandatory, but he gives you a certain number of days you can miss and is really understanding if you have to miss anymore. the tests are challenging, but his notes and STUDENT NOTES helps A LOT. there is no final which is awesome!

You do not have to write papers. You just have to turn in your notes. You have assigned seats,so attendance is mandatory, but you get to miss up to 6 days. Test are ok. I wouldnt recommend this class though.

Read STUDENT NOTES. Only focus on what composer wrote and their style. There are three non-cum. tests and no final. Tests are hard if you don't study, there are about 20 mult. choice and 12 true false questions. Attendace is required. For the record 2011 is harder than 2012. He plays music during class, but you only need to know who wrote what.

teacher is really easy but the TA's make the class not fun. Constantly watching you to see if your awake or talking, but since big class sort of easy to get away with things. Dont buy the book buy the student notes and attend class becasue you get extra point on your final grade for perfect attendence

Don't bother buying the textbook!! buy the student notes and show up to class that is all there is to it. i read all the posts for him before i took the class and was thinking it might be harder than i thought but it really isn't. i ended up with a 96 and slept every class just read the student notes and memorize them
