I found Geysbeey very helpful when it comes to education. He is very concerned about his students and he is even helping me in my career interest with great advice.I'm sure everyone that has given him a low rating are not into history and need to realize

This guy rocks. He knows what he's talking about and has lots of interesting ways to present the information. The questions on his exams are tough sometimes, but he gives them to you prior to the test, and will definitely help you out if you go to his office hours. He cares about his students and is actually interested in what they have to say.

He is a great guy. His class is very interesting and the books you read are not that bad. He is the nicest professor I have ever had. He is not one of those professors who teach a low level course like it is a graduate class. I recommend this class for everyone.

A very fun and interesting teacher. He's always willing to help and clarify what he wants from you. Attending class is a must with pop quizes but they weren't hard as you could use notes. Lots of extra reading to do---not an easy A but if you put effort into it you should do good.

Overall, I felt he was a very unorganized professor. It's impossible to stay awake in class, but make sure you go because he takes attendance and gives pop-quizzes on the book. Basically HST101 is world history from BC to the present so it's tons of info so don't take this class expecting an easy A!

I enjoyed taking this class even though I hate history. The prof was enjoyable and he tried to tie current events into his lessons to make them more relevant. World history is boring and he jumped around a lot. It seemed like he wasn't organized be but he gives extra credit and easy tests.

I loved this class!! Geysbeek is a great teacher. He makes class very fun and time flys by. His quiz's and tests are really easy! I would recommened that if you are taking a history class and he is one of the teachers, TAKE HIS CLASS!

Very nice guy. He wants all of his students to succeed. It is a hard class if you aren't interested in the subject but he does his best to help you at however he can.The class consists of popquizzes,book quizzes,midterm and a final. I would recommend his class anytime.

he's a really cool guy and is full of very intereting information. i really enjoyed going to class because he was a fun prof. be prepared to wrtie a lot of information for his tests, but if you study they aren't hard. read the books and you'll do fine.
