I have had him at Lakehead University and he is absolutely brilliant. If you are interested in anthropology, he is THE professor to take. I have taken almost all of his classes and he is very understanding, helpful, and passionate in his work. 12/10 would recommend.

York always manages to do away with what's good. The loss of Tim Kaiser as a faculty member was tragic for any student who had the pleasure of taking a class with him. He is an inspiring teacher an incredibly knowledgable scholar and an all round wonderful person. He is admired and greatly missed!

Excellent prof!! Learned a lot from his class. Organized, concise, and intelligent. Loved his stories. TA's helped a lot in the course if not we'd all be lost on what to study. Assignments were challenging. York always does manage to lose good profs!!
