What a cool hipster-beatnik. It's so nice to have a prof with personal experience in the field, who just talks to you not at you. Thanks Tim!

'altthow' I guess it was good to see all those 'fillums', by far the coolest thing about Tim is that he can't pronounce those two words. Its like he tries to be Robin Williams or something, but he is just not all that inspirational.

Interesting course, lots of movies to help with course content. Tim varies the intensity of his voice emphasis on certain words when he talks, which was kind of wierd, but it HELPS to keep students AWAKE in the CLASSROOM. Overall Good Prof.

Dr.Paterson is a funny and weird guy. The course was so interesting, i loved watching the "fi-lums", but i found his multiple choice to be way too random. A difficult course for being 100 level-more reading than all of my classes combined.

He clearly loves this subject. He isn't always thrilling to listen to, but he shows lots of films and that breaks up the lectures a bit. You have to take good notes on the films though, since they are on the tests.

Great teacher. Totally engaging if you're into Anthro. I was totally hooked. You don't need the readings - just listen to him and take good notes. Very reasonable for re-writes/questions.

100% RECYLES OLD EXAMS, SO LOOK AT HIS PAST EXAMS, 3 STRAIGHT FORWARD EXAMS, NO PAPER, 6,2, 90 POUNDS, RUBS HANDS TOGETHER LOTS, LOOKS LIKE A PROTYPICAL ANTHROPOLOGIST FROM THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, BUT LECTURES ARE LESS ENGAGING THEN WATCHING PAINT DRY....
