his classes can be fun but the material expected to learn is way out of control for what is required to teach elementary music, every post i have read on here is true. He is the worst prof I have ever had. I challenged him to see my marks after I received a bad grade and he could not even show me them or how he arrived at those grades. Brutal.

He said that the course focused on elementary education but that we could adapt it to high school. I adapted it to high school and got a c. I have a 3.7 gpa and have never gotten a c in my life! I have played music since I was nine. Also, no compassion. I think it friggin' SUCKS that his is the only music course offered in Education at UNB.

So glad this man is going on sabbatical. Only wish I would have known, I could have saved myself the agony of being in his class. Egotistical, plays favorites, and is unfair. Got almost all A's on everything all semester and somehow wound up with a C for a final grade...something doesn't add up. DON'T TAKE ANYTHING WITH HIM AS A PROF!

God help the soul who signs up..save yourself the agony. There's not enough room in the classroom for his ego and the students. Not sure why he teaches (if you want to call it that). The worst prof I've ever had in six years of school. Rote teaching, regurgitation, condescending. Sucks the life out of a very interesting subject. Shame, shame.

It is not that bad! I think it would be quite difficult if you have no music background at all, but you can still do it, it'll just require a bit more work. He is more than willing to meet with students having difficulty. Don't be scared away, it's fine!
