Dr. Miller is definitely one of my favorite professors. He goes off topic, but you'll never be bored. I found his stories to be unique and inspirational. His expectations may be confusing, but you will most likely receive an A in the course if you follow his handouts. Also, If you need to turn an assignment in late he is very understanding.

Dr. Timothy Miller is overall an amazing human being, as well as a great professor. He tells great experiences from, as he says, his "life lived and learned." He also really knows his stuff. While his class doesn't focus on discussions and is lecture based, you will learn to see similarities in the ancient classics (Genesis, the Odyssey, etc.).

When it comes to Miller (in any class), as long as you at least skim some of the hand outs he gives, know his talking points, and understand very generally what the books he covers are about, you will not get lower than a B in any of his classes. I've taken him twice, never read a single page of a book he's covered, and gotten B's in both classes.

A few in class essays, and lots of lectures. It's sometimes hard to focus. It's best to read on your own, and use the professor as a guide. You can get away with missing a few classes, but I don't recommend skipping all of it. Take notes. Use Sparknotes and online videos to best help you with the tests. Very difficult. Never got higher than a B+

Dr. Miller is a hilarious and sweet guy who obviously loves Shakespeare. He is passionate about it. My only issue was the three hour lectures that were hard to pay attention to. He does give you many handouts with his lecture notes on them so you can study for the pretty simple essay tests. Not very tech-savvy, but it's not a deal-breaker

Miller is probably the weirdest professor i've ever had. When he gets off topic, he rambles on and on about the same things, though he's usually hilarious. His on-topic ramblings, however, feel like the diatribes of a madman. He is clearly very intelligent, but he isn't the best person to teach college.

I was frustrated with this course up until the first test. This course is an easy A or B if you take notes on what he says. His exams may seem challenging, but he goes over the test questions a class before the test. Dr. Miller also has some very interesting stories that he will tell the class from time to time. I strongly recommend him.

Dr. Miller is one of the best English professors. He knows the material, and his love of teaching is obvious when he lectures. The grade is based off of a paper and a few tests.

The most awesome and laid-bac professor I had at Millersville. He's a bit wonky and scatter-brained, but he knows his stuff, and is adamant on helping you succeed. He wont waste your time or money.

I love Dr. Miller. He is so sweet and he is a very knowledgable man in his field of Science Fiction and Literature. His lecture style might be a little bit unorganized, but Dr. Miller is such a sweet guy so I'll let it slide. His handouts are important, keep those close-by for test time, you'll need them for your essay exams.

Dr. Miller isn't too bad, but I did feel like showing up to his class was a waste of time. His lectures are very disorganized and he was never able to cover everything in class. The good thing about him is that there is not much work to do. As long as you read the materials and can write well, I'ts an easy A!

Dr. Miller is a funny and enjoyable professor. He only made my class write 3 essays throughout the entire semester so make sure that you know all of the literature that you are reading. 3 words of advice that I would give is make sure you watch documentaries of the stories, write essay outlines, and type the essays on a laptop in class.

What can I say about this man, he is a nut, but that is the best thing about him. Every class is like a comedy show as Dr. Miller is a wacky, but funny Vietnam veteran. The class is pretty straightforward, and as long as you can write papers at a moderate level you should get nothing lower than a B. The "Monster" is great!

Dr. Miller is incredible and inspiring! Lots of books and handouts, but he goes over almost everything in class and you know exactly what he wants to see in your essay exams. As long as you take notes and understand the real meaning of the stories, it's an easy A. I took so much more from this class than just science fiction, highly recommend it!.

Dr. Miller is a super nice, weird guy. He can be a bit scatterbrained and his lectures are all over the place, but the books he assigns are all fascinating and he has very interesting interpretations of the text. Tons and tons of handouts, definitely get a binder. The essay exams are complicated but he covered everything in class or in a handout.

Tim Miller is quite possibly the craziest professor I've ever had. I mean this is a good way. I've never left his class hating him, but with some amusing story from him. He is so passionate about his work, which is very admirable. He has so much info that he really wants you to know, which is overwhelming. Sometimes he's not very clear.
