Highly recommend for Calc II. TJ has a dry, still astonishing sense of humor. Very willing to help over office housr, but approach him in person. E-mail communication was a foreign language to him.

He is a really great guy and pretty funny (especially if Jeff Rosoff is nearby). The class was hard especially the tests, which I rarely finished, but he is a fair grader and curves everything . Also he is always available for help. Also be in class learning this stuff on your own is unhelpful because he rarely assigns homework .

Very quirky prof, in a good way, though. He tries to make a class most people just took as a gen-ed tolerable, and is pretty successful at it. The class is pretty straightforward, and you can tell he wants you to do well. If you need to get a math gen-ed out of the way, take this class with him.

If you understood AP calc in high school you are in luck. He is very confusing and sometimes goes WAAAAAAAY too fast. Although he does have a little humor in him, it doesn't help to pass the class or understand the material any easier. I knew most of the material from high school, but the last month of material was brutal (series). Best of luck!

TJ was a philosophy major in college and you can definitely tell when he teaches. He challenges your mind with questions and loves to tell jokes. He teaches the class by examples and is very easy to understand. I wouldn't take calc with anyone else!

He's like a combination of Dumbledore and Flitwick. He's super funny, and the class is very easy if you understand logic. You'll either get it or you won't, but he can help you understand some.

TJ is great - loves his job, loves his subject. As an FTS teacher, I liked him. Very philosophical class. Little outside work - we didn't have to do the petty things that other FTS classes did, such as touring the library, ect. ect. At times TJ's lecturing got a little overwhelming and put some into a sleepy stupor, but I loved it.

This Prof. is crazy. Odd sense of humor, but you can tell he tries. Subject matter NOT interesting. Can be easy at times, but it builds false confidence for the tests which are often challenging. Study and pay attention (if you don't fall asleep!)

Morrison is so funny and realistic. I don't like math, and I was taking this class just to graduate, but he made it entertaining at least. He's a good prof.

If you have a strange sense of humor you will like him, if not he's really odd! This class was hard because you had to use lots of logic, but easy once you figure things out. The Prof is unwilling to answer your questions. If he does he'll treat you like you're stupid and not even give you hints. Very Rude! Office hours are at a horrible time too.

Good teacher, watch out for the tests though. If he gives an example of "the hardest problem you'll see" in class, that one will be on the test. Study up, you'll do fine, but he'll make a lot of fun of you in the process. Good guy overall.

Best math teacher I've ever had, he can actually explain things well- plus he's super funny, so class is actually fun. Tests are challenging, but nothing he's never explained, so if you pay attention and do the homework you'll do fine.
