Dr. Arcaro is not an amazing teacher, but he is a great person and he facilitates amazing discussions in his class. I would not say the class is hard, as 70% of the grade is based on weekly blog posts of 500-600 words.

Arcaro is a great guy and is super smart. He has no structure for his lectures. He does not pause for questions. He lectures straight for the entire class and it bores you. He vocabulary and knowledge level is way above all of our heads. He is way too smart and not really teaching sociology. Rather than teaching, he forces his opinion on you.

Arcaro is a really nice guy and is also extremely smart. He seems to be very passionate about sociology and gets giddy when you come up with smart comments. He's a very good teacher, however, his grading for some assignments is one of the most perplexing things I've ever come across. Other than that he's great.

Dr. Arcaro is very passionate about what he does. He really loves when you participate and show that you're really thinkingdigging deep into the material. He is Incredibly smart and introduces really interesting topics in class.

Overall great professor. Assigns a lot of reading assignments, but all material is very interesting. Really influential professor, and is really there for his students. As long as you do the assignments you will pass, but you get what you work for. Would definitely recommend taking him. You'll work, but will learn a lot.

Professor Arcaro is a nice guy, but he is a little hard to follow. He is very unstructured in his teachings, never gives notes or handouts or anything it is all lecture style. I prefer powerpoints or notes to follow along so it was a hard class for me. He doesn't assign a lot of work or tests but you have weekly blackboard posts

Arcaro is such a cool guy, genuinely passionate about what he teaches. I had him for Global and it was great! all we did was skype people around the world, However, he does make you work for your grade outside of class. He assigned a lot of books for a global class, 4, and you HAVE to know them. Midterm paper was graded strict. Still a great Global

Sociology through film. Take notes and re-copy them from class, then take book notes, very tedious. Although the infomratino learned is applicable in many papers i am starting to learn. Pretty cool guy, gives out juicies and nanas. If you are ready to work then this is your guy.
