Changes the way you think about the world. A fair amount of work but it isn't all that bad - you spend a fair amount of time listening to his opinions on things, but he presents it in a convincing and intelligent way. Will make you think. I would not recommend taking his intro to philosophy class if you are a republican though.

When I first walked into his class, he struck me as very strange. Boy was I wrong. He is an excellent professor who challenges you to think. Exactly what a college professor should be. I can actually say that he helped me get ready for the world.

He is a great professor. I had him for intro to phil. His classes are lectures, with the use of media (youtube videos, news clips, documentaries, etc) The negative to this class, is that there is a ton of work. (every class there is an assignment, typically at least 1 paragraph - 1 page The positive is that there are no exams!
