Absolutely fantastic professor! You can tell he has a passion for what he teaches. Be prepared to work. Attendance, note taking, and serious studying is a must if you want to succeed in this class. He is very accessible and is always willing to help a student. Fun teacher with cheesy jokes and great lectures. Wish he would teach Bio 1151!

Excellent instructor. As long as you take notes and study them thoroughly before each test you'll do fine. It's not easy and you have to pay attention and work hard but you learn a lot. He lectures clearly and with enough humor to keep you interested.

Wished I took someone else for Anatomy 1552, Prof. Ruehlmann is supper tough on grading and is lecture and lab exams are difficult. If you don't put this class first before any of your other classes then you won't pass.

Professor R. Is a awesome teacher and makes quirky jokes at 7 am. The class is tough but if you study you will get an A. The lecture hand outs are easy to understand and instead of writing during lecture you can listen . He is the best teacher ive had so far and I plan on taking him for my AP1552. Plus no raising of hands nor projects!

Dr. Ruehlmann is a great instructor. We had about 5 exams, 1 lab practical and the final exam. He already gives you the class notes, so all you have to do is print them out, go to class, listen as he lectures with the notes in front of you and you should be ok. Do the assigned reading! 90-95% of his exam questions come from his notes!

His class may just be the hardest class I've ever taken in my entire life. The tests and lab practicals are ridiculously hard. You need to study everyday to get an A.

Dr. R is a GREAT teacher! His lectures are enjoyable and interesting. He posts outlines for lecture on Blackboard, which are a HUGE help. Learn the notes! The majority of his test questions are in his notes. I suggest reviewing the "concept check" questions and the "test your understanding" in the text book before tests as well.

He was the best teacher I've ever had. Very professional, always well prepared, knowledgeable and dedicated to make students really learn the material. I was consistently impressed with his teaching and how well he explains things. A&P is a tough subject and could be overwhelming at times, but this teacher makes learning enjoyable.

He's a great man and makes such dorky jokes that are super funny. Of course the class is difficult and you have to study your butt off but he's a great guy who is always willing to go above and beyond to help.

Great professor, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. Keep in mind that the class is very difficult and you have to put in the time, but he gives you every opportunity to be successful. My only gripe was that he favored one of the sections over the other and gave them bonus questions for lab practicals because their overall average was lower.

If you are not ready to dedicate your self to school work, don't take this class. However, if you are willing to put in time and effort and study, you will get a good grade. There is a quiz every week and that helps A LOT to prep for tests. He tells you exactly what you need to know. Advice: take this class by its self. It requires a lot of work.

He is not your typical COD teacher...he is ridiculously hard and annoying. He puts you to sleep and its really hard to get an A. He knows what he is teaching well, but hes way of teaching is quite difficult to ensure that you get a good grade in class. Choose another proffesor, he's not worth even trying.

Dr. Ruehlmann is a very good teacher. His teaching style is straight forward and to the point. Lectures are interesting and he throws in the best corny jokes! Tests are tough and you need to study a LOT to get an A. Gives lots of tests and in lab he gives quizes every week, requiring you to study a lot, but the quizes help in prep for the tests.

If you don't like note-taking, DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF. Instead of having you read the textbook he provides outlines in class as notes and gives his lecture in between writing stuff on the board. It's actually a good teaching strategy because you're sort of exposed to stuff twice in a day.
