Pro Ruggio is literally the most inspiring teacher I have had period. If you are naturally gifted, he doesn't try to switch you to his style but mold your own with the fundamentals of the masters gone. Not so talented? He will build you provided you are willing to work. And his personality is light and refreshing. Grad 6 years ago and still in awe

Prof Ruggio knows his stuff. He also knows how to pass on his knowledge to students. He does it in a fun but controlled atmosphere...especially during student artwork critiques. I have taken a few different classes with Prof Ruggio and trust me when I say that he is one of the best art/design teachers out there.

Tommy Ruggio is by FAR the best teacher I have ever had!! he makes learning so much fun. Its like learning how to hit a baseball and Ted Williams is the instructor. Class was great, especially loved the halbart works. RUGGIO for president! I dare anybody from this class not to agree

Trust me when i say this sign up for his classes now cuz there is a one year waiting period cuz he is so in demand...you wont be sorry every class is like being in the presence or an aprentice per say of a master artist. He is a great teacher but a greater friend!

Best teacer I have ever had. He has to be the nicest guy I have met at this school. He knows what he's doing and he encourges you to do your best cause he knows you can do it even if you don't know you can. very down to earth and easy to talk to AND HOT

Tom Ruggio is by far my favorite professor in Briarcliffe. If it was not for him, I would not paint nearly as good as I do now. He taught me everything I needed to know, and never doubted my talents...(like KAREN did-no offense)
