You have to pay attention in class and do the readings to do well on the tests. If the whole class bombs, he will scale them significantly. Great extra credit opportunities at the end of the semester. He's upbeat and is a great professor.

Great prof., really knows his stuff! All you need to do to pass are the reading assignments, and go to class! He made me love philosophy and I admire that he will talk openly about anything pertaining to the course. If you want a great professor, take him!

He's chill as mess. I like the class itself, but we do more random discussion/debate than actual lecture or teaching so the tests are way harder. Make sure if you take him that you follow up class with supliment readings on the philosophers. He is seriously really cool and not bad to look at though. It's a fun class.

TESTS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. He tests you on 4 religions in a matter of 2 weeks of classes. Doesn't go over all the material in class. You practically have to teach yourself and memorize the book with all the detailed questions on his test. The highest grade on the last test was a 68!!!! 27 Point CURVE! DO NOT TAKE HIM!

I didn't enjoy or learn anything from this class at all. He's not religiously neutral at all and loves to demean Western religions. Tests are ridiculous amount of work. Read over 100 pages in text and his notes that are over 15 pages, and 60 pages in a scriputural book. Everyone fails but makes out on a 17 point curve most the time.

If you so desire to become bombarded with a lacking education, take this "professor". Our learning curriculum consisted of about 3-4 20-page 10-font packets of religious detail that we had to cram in the matter of 4-5 class periods. He reads from the packets and doesn't even cover all of the information. You learn nothing.

horrible professor.. our midterm was 3 questions in which we had to type 4-6 pages for EACH question.. he doesn't respond to emails and is very unclear. likes to make students suffer with extremely hard and long assignments.

Ok well the class is critical thinking so it isnt exactly expected to be hard. The material just sucks its incredibly boring and to be honest, going to class every day really isnt necessary. Nattania is cool though. He is funny but set in his views so dont try to debate him and if you are a strong left wing you arent always gonna like his views.
