Tracy is a very good teacher, do not listen to comments about how she is hard to follow. People who wrote these probably aren't very bright because her slides are easy to follow. The only criticism I have is Tracy is very hard to talk to and ask questions to, or maybe it's just how I interpreted her answer. Tracy expects you to give it 100%.

Condescending at times, shot guns a ton of information at you during lecture. Over load of information makes it difficult for the average student to intake information, interpret, and fully understand the material.

This lady is a bit intense but very schooled. Her lectures are very informative. There are no surprises when it comes to the exams, but there is A LOT to know. Labs were decent. The field trip was rad. Generally a good course/prof.

Once again a fun field trip. It's amazing that someone can be this knowledgeable and excited about glaciers! She marks the reports fairly hard. The final exam is comprehensive and you need to know your details!

Hard midterm and final. Lecture is very informative but you will feel being overloaded after each lecture. Field trip is fun but again the grading is tough. Received B- at the end (My upper year GPA is 3.8 before and 3.5 after this class)

Great professor! Super interested in her subject, and very knowledgable. She is extremely approachable. However, she is also equally demanding, and the marking scheme is quite rigid. Know your stuff, and know it well! Details and all.

Knows what she is talking about, fairly strong lecturer. Be prepared to really work hard to succeed; the laboratories are alot of map analysis/hunting through lecture notes/textbook and the tests are EXTREMELY demanding.

Very hard teacher that really knows what she is talking about. Tests were super hard, especially the math aspect of it. I didn't find that she was really willing to help you out when you had a problem with understanding math. GREAT FIELDTRIP TP MERRITT. She had a great time there.
