Great teacher, really helpful, speaks clearly and her notes are awesome and not hard to follow. She uses visual props a lot which actually help for such a difficult class. She is more than willing to help you if you are confused and answers any questions in class. Her tests are VERY fair and not difficult (If you study obviously).

I wish I had the knowledge in Biology that she does...very smart! This is not a class for the weak though. Attendance, notes, and studying is a must. She has a good sense of humor and is genuinely a very nice person. Recommended!!

Difficult class. Not terribly clear and concise when it comes to content, blows through material in classes. Lectures are very tedious. She is a nice lady though, and is willing to answer questions after class. Had a strong interest in biology until this class.

she is very unclear says i dont know a lot and doesnt fallow up or make an effort to answer your questions tests are unfair i think she just takes old test questions and puts them on but never really covered the material in class really vague you never know if you should read the text or not if you can get karen instead shes great

Such an idiot! how many times can you say, "i don't know" to a question in one class?? at least five when it's val. she's very unclear about what she will be testing you on, and advises you NOT to read the textbook...but the questions on exams are not answered in lecture or in her notes! she takes forever to post her notes as well, and they SUCK!

Super good teacher, lectures are really well organised. The only thing downfall is that she blasts through material and her exams are hard. Her marking is makes it worse because she is very detail oriented. I wouldn't recommend this class due to its difficulty.

She's super nice. Notes are pretty good, gets a lot of her stuff out of the textbook though. quizzes every class to make people attend. i think we all hate the class because its 3 long hours at night. She's a great lady, its just a brutally boring/long class.
