Nice teacher, can only miss 4 classes, must read b/c she gives quizzes, her tests come strait from the lectures, test are all essay and questions about the authors biography, interesting subjet but sometimes boring classes b/c all she does is talk, oh and don't be late to class!

Class is easy if you do the readings, and believe me there is alot of reading in this class. Despite that fact, she makes the class interesing and will work with you. Pop quizzes may be a challenge if you miss a reading, but its easy to make up with extra credit which she just throws at you. Test are easy, if you listen to in class discussions.

Farlow is an AMAZING prof!! I absolutly love her and am currently looking to take her again next semester! She is so much fun and really gets the class involved and interested! She is from France and has alot of culture relevance! You have to do the readings though (and there are ALOT of them) because of pop-quizzes! Grading system never changes!

Dr.Farlow is so nice and a great teacher. Do the reading; there's a lot of it. Lots of credit for class participation. Short easy (if you did your reading) pop quizzes. Plenty of opps for extra credit. Three tests, no final. Listen to class discussions; test questions come directly from them. It may sound hard, but it was a really enjoyable class!

Dr. Farlow is amazing. I only took the Lit because it was a requirement and was dreading it, but she is wonderful and knows how to teach quite well. All should take her! Only 3 tests a year but gives opportunity for extra credit!!!

Who can resist a hot French professor? Dr. Farlow is the so great! She is happy to assist students and makes the classroom time very enjoyable. I only regret that she is not teaching more French classes. I will try her World Lit. from the given reviews!

She does require you to read a lot of material and does give some quizzes but the quizzes are straight forward and very easy. She explains things very well and reviews for test in a lot of detail. I would encourage people to take Dr. Farlow.

She is really cute and tries to have fun with the material. Her tests are short essay, but you can throw your opinion in. Her class is very discussion oriented, so if you dont like talking in class, then your grade may suffer a little. Good teacher.
