She is very incoherent! Her paragraph long definitions and complex way of talking make the class boring and just complicated to understand. The book teaches better! tests are easy though. 2 papers are required, and they are not that hard. get Daraka as a TA, he's great!

I had her back in the day. On the first day of section, the TA agreed on how bad she was and said if we'd go to his section every week, do well on the quizzes he gave us and did decently on the final...we'd get an A or a B in the class.

The Worst professor I've ever had in my life!! She has a very annoying voice.She rarely showed up to lecture and when she did she just put definitions on the over head for us to copy. She didn't go in depth.It was a waste of time. She didn't teach us anything!! Amandeep my TA didn't help either.

She missed sooo many lectures...ridiculous. The movies were tight though. She has a very mundane voice and mainly goes over vocab. Tests were multiple choice and short answer--multiple choice=random; short answer=easy. Overall she gets a C.

This class was terrible, when she actually showed up it was a waste or time. The tests were difficult and many of the questions were totally random. The only good thing was section, Tonya is a really good TA, try to get her.

BORING lecture, all she does is reiterate what is in the textbook, spits out definitions, and rarely goes in depth and hardly ever gives examples. Midterm & Final were a joke, random questions with little relation to what was covered in lecture. I don't recommend her.

This class was a waste of time and money. If you are only looking for an easy A and nothing else, then take this class with her. If you actually want to learn something, avoid Johl. She rarely shows up to lecture, and when she is there, she does alot of pointless group experiments and discusses.

Johl is the worst professor I have ever had. She was very boring and she the way she taught her class was just bad and not interesting at all. She is never in class on Fridays and she is not there a lot in general. The tests are really difficult and have really random questions.
