Just don't. She thinks this is the only class her students are taking. The workload for this 3 unit class is way more than any of my 5 unit classes. Her grading criteria is overly strict and she's not clear on what she wants. I'm sure she's knowledgeable on the subject but she's horribly unorganized and leaves you confused.

This was a great class. The prof has been teaching this class for a long time. She travels and is able to give true-life examples. The best thing is that she spent time with me on the phone (nearly an hour) going over criteria and ideas. She's really nice and cares about her class and students. She needs to learn how to teach the class before pursuing teaching. Her discussion criteria is so confusing and gets mad if you ask her to clear up. She makes you confused with too much announcements and assigns so much reading at the same time that is difficult to catch up. Dont take it if you care for your grade.

She is very strict grader. Her lecture and assignments are never clear and left you confused. She even ignore emails and etudes messages if do not understand the assignment. She post too much announcements that confuse you out. She doesnt explain the assignment and expect you to go get help from other sources instead of asking her. DO NOT HER!!!

Run fast and don't look back. This professor is knowledgeable, but she is too much. It is a 3 unit online class and her workload is more of a 7 units class. I am a 4.0 GPA student, and she is very ridiculous by being very ambiguous all the time! Unlike other online professors that I have taken, this professor will confuse the heck out of you.

In 2013 I was attacked in the stairwell. I reported the incident to the campus police but nobody ever contacted me to see if I was OK. Ms. Marie was the only person who seemed conserned. She referred me to a counselor and checked with me the next few weeks to see if I was OK. I did like her class but mostly I appreciated her humanity.

she is a awesome teacher. Understand the issues, teaches with Passion, respect. She give really good extra credit assignments that you can choose from. You must follow exactly when it comes to the term paper she assigns . Test are not that hard. the term paper is a big part of your grade. make sure you do the Discussions

This is THE professor you want for your speech classes! Mrs. Marie was very helpful and motivating when it came to getting up in front of the class to give speeches. As long as you do what you are asked, you will do great. It may even become your favorite class, it absolutely became mine!

This has been the best class I have taken. It was a hybrid class so only in class to give speeches. Mrs. Marie is the best speech teacher and makes it fun, relaxing and useful! I recommend her so highly and we were lucky to have the most wonderful and open students that helped make the class like a family.

At the beginning I really was looking forward to this class, and it seemed interesting. This course felt totally inconsistent and honestly pretty boring. She's rude and frankly has a sense of lofty self-importance. I worked my butt off in this course but I was still called an 'unprofessional'. Don't take this course unless you like kissing ass.

I understand how some can say she is rude. She's nice, but can be randomly strict. She really hates answering questions that she's already answered or has written in her extra materials book. That being said, she seems to be an easy grader - or I had brilliant classmates.
