Hes a really good teacher and knows what hes talking about. Its a hard class though so if u take it be prepared to spend the time to really learn it, he skips steps alot but only the ones u should already know and if u dont understand speak up and he will go back and make sure u understand the material and steps he skips if u ask. good teacher

I have no clue how I passed this class. I don't understand even a little bit about calculus. Victor is a really smart person but because he never struggles with math he does not know how to teach it. It was a really hard class.

Victor was... well I guess he was a good teacher. I did learn quite a bit of calculus, though I can't imagine (passing) the class without ASAP tutoring, either. I did find myself zoning him out quite a bit, I think it's the accent... Well, one thing to say for Victor, he is really helpful one-on-one in his office hours, so take advantage of that.

Victor is the best math teacher by far at CSUMB. In addition, he is the most honest teacher at CSUMB. If you try hard, and take advantage of his office hours/ math lab, he opens up several doors for you and compliments you to others. If you do not try hard, and slack off, he will be blunt with you, try hard and he'll love you.

Ramos is awesome! He has the best accent/lisp combination ever. Hahaha! His lectures were kind of dragged out sometimes but the group work was plus. He's pretty fair, just do the work, find reliable people in your group, make sure you get everything in on a timely manner. Definitely reccommend taking his class!

I loved Math 100. I got an A+. If you get the help u need right away by going to open lab/office hours/ and asap you'll do very well. I have to say I got a 350 out of 800 on the math part of the SAT's, and managed to get the highest grade amongst everone if both of his classes. If I can do it, so can u. I hate math, except math 100

The math was moderate; you would turn in a journal and homework once a week, so that was easy. But the homework had a lot of problems in it sometimes. A lot of people left early, my advice is to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CLASS TIME. Get partners that don't slack. Also, his accent is funny...it's like a Spanish accent with a lisp. Haha.

He's a great teacher. Love to help and give chances. If you ask for help he'll give it to you. His TA's actually know how to do something instead of stand there. He'll stay there late to help and is always concerned about other people. He'll tell you when your messing up and what to do about it.
