She's absolutely wonderful. She gives fantastic examples and questions, on which the tests, and Lyryx assignments are based on. Ask questions if you're not sure about something, she won't mind.

She is an amazing prof. Make sure to read ahead and familiarise yourself with the new concepts because when class starts shes going to give you lots of practice questions to work through as a class. I believe in her "learn by doing a lot of practice" style of teaching. dont be afraid to ask a question by raising your hand, she welcomes questions.

She really wants us to succeed so she'll spend a lot of time reviewing specific types of questions that are to be on the test (midterms and final.) She's not for someone that needs very clear and ordered notes as her writing on the blackboard (meaning no online notes from her!) can definitely be hard to follow but it got easier over time for me.

She's a very helpful prof but due to her strong accent, it was hard to understand the material. She expects you to know everything beforehand. Very nice if you seek help individually during her office hours! She puts a lot of practice up on blackboard which is very helpful. Don't buy the textbook. She's very specific on what to expect on tests!

She was good for everything but class notes since she went to fast taking advantage of how fast she can do the questions herself rather than going slow so that we can understand what is teaching us. Other than that she is helpful and always has extra practice things in her office for you to do. She gives good practice handouts for you to do.

Beginning of the semester I hated her, but I got used to how she teaches and she slowed down and is now one of my favourite profs and is tons of help. I went and saw her when I didn't get the class stuff and she would do everything to help. Quizzes are exactly like the practice ones, test were a little harder but fair.

She's hard to understand and her notes are hard to follow because of her handwriting and the fact that it's all over the place. However her worksheet and practice quizes and exams are helpful and almost the same but as a teacher she's not very good. So far the worst math teacher I've had so far, but the worksheet and practice exams make her better.

Vary hard to understand. Impossible to follow her work on the board since it is very messy. She makes a lot of mistakes in class. Worksheets she posts online are awesome, she also posts lots of practice tests were very helpful.

She is AMAZING!!! In my three years at this university I have never had a funnier, quirkier professor. If you just put in some effort, she will do everything she can to make sure you succeed. If you are struggling, just ask for help!! I started the class a little frustrated with her accent, but now that I'm used to it, I love her to death. :D

No regrets. I was about to drop this class after one week of hell but I'm so glad I stayed. Her midterms are just like the practice tests that she posts. She's adorable and really wants her students to pass.

Awful professor. Has an extremely thick accent, writes illegible notes, and goes way too fast. I excelled at math prior to this course, but no matter how hard I worked and how long I studied, I couldn't improve my grade to acceptable levels. Ended up dropping the class. Wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy

Horrible lecturer, pretty much the whole class does not understand her, only thing going for her is that she's old and we should respect her "passion" for math.

I attended first week and I had to drop after that. I sat in the front row trying to understand her talk really fast and write illegible things on the board. She has good intentions, it's just the combination of her accent, terrible handwriting and Calc 3 that scared me off.

She is always willing to help, however when you go for help her writing is awful. Her quizzes and midterm are easy, but final was killer!! You can easily get a B+ or higher if you study. Although she said lowest quiz mark would be replaced but it wasn't :(, overall she's pretty decent other than the final

most bad comments are from people who didn't apply themselves and failed, no calc prof will help you with that! She says it best when she says the class grade dispersant was an inverse bell curve (mostly A's and F's). But seriously helpful, always gave me old quizes (tip ask them she is approachable) and u can use any calculator (ti 89)

really good teacher, people complain on how hard the class is, but really she gives us everything you need. Her quizzes are similar to the practice quizzes and handouts she posts. Some questions on exams are a little harder but you can't expect her to spoon feed you. Should have a B in the class minimum

She is soo cute! Anyways, once you get past her accent I find that her examples are quite helpful. Her worksheets on bb are extremely helpful so you don't need to get the textbook. Her quizzes are like those worksheets so make sure you study it. Her writing is a bit messy..so just pay closer attention and you'll be fine.

Truly a nice woman outside of class, however in class she moves extremely fast for a 50min lecture. Expect not to understand things as you leave. I recommend attending about half of the calc connection sessions with Elsabruty and then utilizing a tutor for the remainder of the course and into the final. Midterm=exact same as review. Final=HARD.

quizzes bare super easy and follow the handouts she gives almost exactly. HOWEVER... midterm and final were ridiculous. so long and so hard and with questions you have never even seen before, and the ones you have seen before she makes exponentially harder. very difficult to understand the majority of our class self taught ourselves the class.
