Miner is fantastic. Lectures can be boring, but his sense of humor make the hour worthwhile. He is willing to help you out on days you missed class, but he does hold you responsible. He lets you do your own thing on workout days, which was fine. His test reviews are fantastic, and he is very clear about what is on the tests.

He's a funny old guy. He likes to remind you that he's running out of weekends so he needs to keep doing fun stuff. He tells us that a few times every class period. He is good at making me want to stay healthy.

Coach miner is super funny and cares a lot about each student. Downside of having him is that he never updates canvas until very end of semester and you need to read the book if you want a decent grade on any of the tests. You cover things but not all that you will need.

Coach Miner is a super entertaining professor and he really cares about his students. Tests are really heavy on your grade compared to the running and other physical activities. If you read the book and go to lectures you will be pretty well off. I really enjoyed this class!

Super easy going and chill. He goes over what will be on the test for you very clearly. You have to try to not pass. The tests are easy. Show up to class and for the exercises & you're good. He's really funny and tries to make class fun. I took this class before and didn't have a good experience and with him I did!

Really fun and nice old man. The fitness part was super easy! Just show up and then run the mile and a half five times during the semester. Funny guy. HOWEVER, I was not prepared for how hard the tests would be. PE? Easy peasy thought I. NOPE. Make sure you read and study and take practice questions because they aren't as easy as you'd think.

This class was surprisingly my lowest grade of the semester. The tests cover material that he doesn't teach and he expects you to know it. He is a cool dude and the workouts and running were fun but the written tests were hard. You'll have a fun time and run a lot in this class but don't expect it to be your typical easy PE class.

He's just a really good guy. He expects you to pay attention and will call you out if you don't. He really tries to help the students. He understand that this class is just a general education class and tries to help you get an easy A. It is a running class though. you will run 3 times in the semester or 5 during summer.

Dr Miner is the happiest professor on campus. I liked when he would lecture but then he has the students do the lecturing and making the handouts for tests. His tests aren't crazy easy and sometimes confusing which can be difficult since students make the handouts and they aren't always the best. But overall it was enjoyable and interesting.

He teaches the first few classes but then turns it over to the class and group projects to teach the rest of the semester. I found it to be very lazy and unprofessional of him. We pay thousands of dollars each semester to have our peers teach us? Very easy class but, didn't learn much.

Nice guy, he took over my class in the middle of semester because my original Professor went into a coma.. Miner is old fashioned, he doesn't use Canvas and it's difficult to know what your grade is till the end of semester.

He is a great instructor and he gives good feedback. We did drills that helped with footwork and forehand/backhand swings. Then the rest of the time we played matches. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn a new sport and have fun. He loves to talk about random things during matches but it keeps you entertained.

Professor Miner is awesome! I should have gotten an F in his class because I never went. Until the last two or three weeks of class I went to him and asked if I could make up 2 missed tests and some fitness evaluations. He said "no problem" I put forth effort in the end and he ended up giving me a B in his class. Great guy, very easy class.

I like the guy, he's loud, funny, and he throws in a good joke here and there. Problem is the subject, it's dull, and useless. I was in during the summer, so it was rushed, and we didn't go over too much of the test info. I didn't buy the book because it seemed like a waste of time. I done did good.

Very easy. Note: he makes your run 5 times vs. the standard 3. He helps you make up missed classes, but only allows you to miss 3 before he starts to dock you. A few easy texts that require you to read the textbook. He also requires you to keep a record of workouts and requires 4 fitness activities per week.
