Big Lib...but if you like that hippy, "government should give you something for nothing"- type class, then take it! She's nice and very helpful and the work load is not bad. If you put a little effort, you'll walk out with a B+ for sure!

Not a bad teacher if you can struggle through her lecture. I recommend an Ipod stuck in one ear and Dane Cook playing, but that’s just me. If you don't pay attention in class, you can still do well on the assignments. A fair grader, and tends to be easy as well, if not a little picky. If you can put up with the lecture, you will be fine.

Easiest class alive. I dont kno how people can say she's difficult. I did horrible with writing in HS, and it was an easy A. People who do poorly must put absolutely no effort into this class, because I put a little in and got an A. Interesting class as well. Cancelled class 25% of the time.

Professor Kennedy was amazing. She really helped with writing and encouraged us to get involved in the world. She's not at the U anymore and it's really a great loss. She was an amazing, very inspiring teacher; one of my favorites ever.

If you like politcs.. TAKE HER! She is very politcal and sometimes closed minded to other opinions. Her lectures seems more like history class. She loves INDIANS!! On the plus side, she is always willing to help, very friendly, decent grader. Take her if you like a challenge.

Terrible class! Nice lady , however, it is the most work I have ever had to do. Hard assignments, and you have to really think in depth for her liking. It is a required class, I dont think it should involve that much work, its not like Im paying all this tuition to become a writer or something!

Excellent Teacher! The class was always interesting because we discussed issues that took place outside of the classroom.She's opinionated but she respects everyone elses point of view. The papers arent difficult you just have to think which you should be doing already. You can EARN an easy A.

HATED her class. It was like wrtiting class and history in one. Fair grader when it comes to writing technique. However, she made the topics too hard to write about. My thoughts were never in depth enough for her taste, even though I thought I had good ideas. I don't recommend her.
