Knows A LOT about his subjects - all of them - but tends to forget that his students aren't all as brilliant as he is. Make sure to visit his office and ask lots of questions - it's the only way to make sure you get all the information you need, and he likes to see students' interest, too.

This man is brilliant! He is very knowledgeable. You are lucky to have him. He will go out of his way to help you. The only complaint I had is for my class he was extremely unorganized. He does not have the structure that some profs do you have to do alot of work outside of the classroom to keep up with him. I recommend this Prof.

Avoid this prof at all costs.He makes the course way harder than it has to be.He tries to be helpful but will just confuse you even more.Nothing is explained clearly.If you have to do a course with him just go to see him during office hours and ask questions.I hosently think that's how he evaluates students.

I've taken a couple of courses with this professor. Brilliant man, and extremely nice. The only problem is inconsistency; I found one of the courses very well-organized and well-taught, but the other lacked in terms of planning and the expectations were unclear. In general: recommended.

Dr. Bubinick is a fanstatic scholar. Count it a privlidge to be taught by him. He always answers questions both in class and on his own time. He does what any good teacher should do...make you think and to apply what you have learned. His ideology of hard work prepares his students for the "real world". Keep up the good work Dr. Bubinick!

I had Bubenik for 3 courses. Although I found him to be somewhat helpful, his lessons were crazy. He EXPECTS that if you are doing Linguistics, that you should know GREEK. If you have him for ANY course, ask dept. head for tutorials. They were what helped me to graduate, if not, I would definetly not be graduated now.

Wow. that's it. he was extremely difficult and unorganized. couldn't understand a word in class or written on the board. hard marker and expects you to basically learn the course on your own.

Avoid this course with this professor at all costs. This course plus Vit Bubenik=trouble!!! Confusing and pointless. He's very approachable and willing to help but half the time when you go to him for help you end up leaving more confused than you were before.
