NEVER take a class with him. He is awful, senile, not clear jumps around. Should be fired and overall inappropriate. He has no idea what Technology is or how to use it. I don't know why MHC still has him as a teacher.

Run away! He is unorganized and unclear. He doesn't follow the syllabus, let alone give us a complete one (the course ended in may but the syllabus only covered through feb.) Makes up assignments on the spot, grades unfairly -- how did the ENTIRE class get a B on the midterm? I really like law classes but no way, not with him. Run away!

Horrible professor. I've had him more than once with the same results. He is difficult to follow and unorganized. He's also sort of self-obsessed, and lectures rarely stay on topic. The class was repetitive and boring and he was set on us regurgitating the positions he holds, even when there is considerable debate among others in the field.

By far the worst professor I have ever had. Words cannot describe how much I disliked him. He is senile and does understand what he is teaching- he may have been popular 30 years ago. avoid him like the plague.

Wally is the worst professor I've ever had. He is incomprehensible, senile and rude. The class was supposed to be "African Politics" but was instead recollections of a trip to Nigeria 35 years ago. It could have been a good class, but became one I found loathsome. He seems to grade exclusively on spelling, not on content. Run for the hills!

Absolutely TERRIBLE professor. Bluntly: he was once extremely intelligent but has gotten a but old for the job. Nice man, but unclear on just about everything, which makes the class crazy and impossible. He can be very rude to students and often borders on inappropriate with comments and jokes. In office hours he is sweet but unhelpful.

The people who have a hard time with Professor Stewart are the ones who expect their hands to be held as they struggle through work. If you can't take criticism don't take this class. If you want to learn then take it. I think people don't like him because he will put you in your place if you are rude to him and if youre an FP.

At first, Prof. Stewart is intimidating and seems out there. But if you do the reading and listen to him, you'll actually appreciate how intelligent he really is. He's tough, but he expects the best...which is nice! It's a good challenge.

Joke of a professor.. his classes are very uncoordinated, unplanned and he lists pages of readings that are supposedly on reserve in the library and expects a class of over 50 to share it when it isn't found in any of the 5 colleges.
