Hes a very nice cool guy its a lecture doesnt take attendance besides the first two days of class and you can learn something if you take notes and dont b distracted by his humor and stories he gave no essays 1 quiz no hw midterm nd fimal itz a really easy class just have to study for test mostly on your notes bc bearly uses the textbook but im =)

He makes you buy an expensive text book then you never use it. About 10% of what he babbles on about in class is relevant to the course. He is not clear about what he wants on the tests. He gets impatient when he meets with people outside of class. Other than that he's passionate and knows his stuff. He's nice with a gruff exterior. Class is easy.

Class is strictly lecture, in which he jumps back and forth between topics so you spend half the time trying to organize your notes into something cohesive and comprehensible and he does hardly NOTHING based on the book that you are REQUIRED to buy. AND HE DOESNT DO REVIEWS. I REPEAT HE DOES NOT DO REVIEWS. Nice guy, bad professor.

this class is a strictly lecture class. he lectures and you take the notes. i honestly didnt even use the textbook. he's cool. even though he often digress from the topic i enjoyed his classes very much. he's entertaining and funny. he curses every here and there but it amuses me.

LOVED his Native North Americans course. He's an amazing resource if you just break the ice and start talking and asking questions. Hefty reading and difficult exams, but it's because he has a genuine interest in you LEARNING something! He tells lots of stories and has a dark and sort of fatalistic sense of humor---I think it's great.

Incompetent! He does NOTHING in class but crack useless jokes and waste time. He is lazy and rude, and since he has tenure no one can do anything about it. He is unfair and the WORST professor to take for Anthro of ANY kind. AVOIDDDD!

this guy gives u a run for your money, no doubt about it. but, he is dedicated to helping his students if they are having a hard time grasping a concept. that was the case with me. he is entertaining with his stories and jokes he chooses to crack. showing up to class shows effort on ur part, he will have a greater interest in helping u.

I highly UNRECOMMEND this teacher (not the class because I'm pretty sure it's interesting elsewhere). Very unclear and is not willing to take 2 secs out of his time to listen to you. Lectures are unclear and make u uninterested in the class itself. Need I say more?!
