He is the creator of the powerpoints and basically runs the World of Business program at IC, so he knows his stuff for sure. Is rarely mean, but be on time for class. His grading is very exact, but he says what he wants you to do. Known for being the hardest of the WOB professors, but wants to help and is a good academic advisor. Put in an effort.

Comment:

One of the more tougher professors but I will definitely be taking a class with him again. Left the class understanding a majority of the material that was taught. Can be intimidating, but Warren is a really nice guy who is always willing to help. A tough grader but if you're willing to put in the work you'll have no problem getting an A.

Nice guy, looks a lot like Larry David. Barely any homework. A few presentations but the tests will make up the majority of your grade. Textbook is not necessary even if he says it is b/c all his PowerPoints are online and the tests are right off of those. Lectures a lot, occasionally boring. Sometimes he is not very clear and can get off track.

He likes people who participate, even if your wrong. He gets a majority of his questions from the textbook but he usually sends out a review sheet with what you need to know. Nice guy, always seems happy. Don't skip class because he collects the leftover name cards and keeps track of skips.

This class completely changed my view of accounting and changed me from someone who didn't understand/hated accounting to someone who loves it. He's truly a great professor. If you must take accounting, definitely take it from him.

I have no idea what is going on in class and the only way he clarifies is through emails which are usually even more confusing. Also, the world of business should not only be about sustainability. Its a pretty broad subject, yet all we have talked about is sustainability.
