Attendance for students is mandatory but he skips class whenever an "important" conference comes up (which happened 5 times last semester). He doesn't check his emails regularly or respond to the ones he does in a timely fashion. Oh, and good luck seeing him in office hours, as he is often either late or cancels them without notice. Awful teacher
