Comment:
Dr. Chandler is a great guy and fun to talk to, but he often gets off topic in class and will get rant at times. He occasionally lets his politics slip out in class, so if you don't like your professors getting political, he might not be your guy. He's also late to class almost everyday. That being said, this is the easiest A I've earned in college

Professor Chandler shows up to class 15 minuets late everyday. He gives little instruction when it comes to papers. On the other hand if you talk to him about a grade and explain why you deserve a better grade and he will give it to you.

Intro to Lit is one of the easiest English classes I have taken since high school. If you like to have more of a class discussion and little teacher input this is not necessarily that type of class. He gives you the answers for tests in lectures and provides study guides that have everything that will be on the test.

He is very clear on his lectures, has very easy quizzes at the end of each week about the book you're assigned to read, very helpful when you need it, and he loves teaching that class.

Requires you to buy extra textbooks and do outside reading for quizzes every week, easy points though. There are only like 6 assignments, all fairly easy, and one formal researched paper 3-5 pages. He doesn't use Northwest Online grade book so you have to keep track of your own grades. Very nice and helpful.

Chandler is a fantastic professor. At times he's a bit monotonic but usually the material is interesting or he'll make it interesting. If you ask for help he will be happy to give it. There are out of class readings which you must do or your grade will suffer but the assignments are always interesting and he is easy to relate to and really funny.

Dr. Chandler is refreshing when it comes to teaching Shakespeare. He doesn't sound like a broken record to all the other Shakespeare you have learned about. You go over the plays, but he provides a new look besides the ones we all learned in high school. Really funny and expressive. Love his class! And I don't like Shakespeare, but he makes it fun

Intro to Shakespeare: It's honestly not bad. He's easy to listen to, makes jokes and isn't boring. Quizzes before each play, but Sparknotes will prepare you enough for them without reading too hard. 3 tests (10 MC, 2 essays) and a term paper. What he talks about in lecture is what he wants on the essays for the tests. Paper wasn't too difficult.

He is very tolerant of opposing views. Very easy to understand, he is very clear and willing to further explain any questions or concerns you have. Great teacher

Get let out early majority of the time. You have to purchase 4 extra books. Every week there is a reading quiz. Fairly easy and interesting books. 2 essay assignments that are spread out over a long period of time. Harsh grader. Classes are really really easy. Most you have to do is read outloud.

I really like him as a teacher, he promotes interest where there wasn't, and is funny too - but he grades really hard, I have a C because of a paper that other professors said could earn an A or B, but a C is good enough for me, I enjoyed my time in there, and hope for another of his classes.

He has to be one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my entire life. He was constantly late and kept us late causing me to be late to my next class. He never made sense and graded the papers super hard unless you were one of his favorites, which I wasn't. lol

Comment:
Chandler is a waste of time and space. He ALWAYS shows up to class late, he also tells us at times he will grade us unfairly if we write about certain topics. He gives ABSOLUTELY NO information about his grading scale, and pulls a number out of his ass for each paper. He is rude and inconsiderate and would be better suited in a middle school.
