I had the opportunity to take Dr. Glasker's AA History 2 course and it was delightful. Take in every word he says as he has some very interesting arguments related to every lecture. His class really made me think. Four exams, four papers, and show up to class and you'll have an A.

I took this class for a history requirement. I loved this class! Always a real world discussion to follow lecture. Dr Glasker does not hold his tongue! Be prepared to take notes or have a buddy to swap notes. Exams are straightforward based on notes! One of the best classes I've taken at RUC

If you have time to take any of his classes as an elective... TAKE IT. Notes are mandatory so come to class or have a buddy willing to share notes. Class discussions get real so be prepared for any and everything. Grading is very straight forward. Easy A if you show up and takes notes.

I truly enjoyed taking this class. Dr. Glasker, is an inspirational professor, and respected by all of his pupils. We had one in class test and the rest were reaction papers from guest speakers or videos. For papers he pointed out paper numbers that were vital to our papers. The class is an easy A if you pay attention and participate.

He's very skilled in the subject matter he teaches. His lectures are interesting. His class is straightfoward. The exams are what he teaches and goes over. He replies to his emails promptly and gives extensions.

Comment:

Dr Glasker is an amazing teacher who genuinely cares about the subjects and students that he teach. He covers a lot of material so missing classes isn't recommended but he reviews the core points in the beginning of each class. There is no "pop" quiz or test and if you're fully present in class you will get an A in the class. Would take again!

Had Glasker for African-Am Hist1 and 2 after withdrawing from a different history course I would have failed. I received and A and a B+. He's a good professor and will help you if you ask for it. Cclass is not hard at all just show up to class and take notes. Tests are very straight forward(literally from his notes)Just do your papers. Easy grader

Caring and wants his students to learn/suceed. I took his 300 level course, no exams but many papers (6-7 plus final paper). Mandatory attendence. He knows his material very well. Sometimes he can be repetive to make sure everyone understands the topic but other then that there are no complaints. I reccomend for sure!

Great professor. I had taken two of his classes.and really enjoyed it. I recommand to anyone that have to take a history class or looking for a course to enjoy sign up for glasker course. I promise you once you complete his class you will leave their learning something. I have to say he has been the best professor I ever had.

Awesome Professor and my absolute favorite at Rutgers, pay attention in class, take notes, show up, and follow his directions and you should do great! He clarifies everything and repeats information often for those who may have missed it the first time. Highly recommend any of Dr. Glasker's courses!

Dr. Glasker's approach to class is just for students to do well on the exams. His class is part history part teacher cert, so i can understand that there wasn't much emphasis on historical analysis. overall, his class was the easiest history class i've taken at RUC. Also, he is pretty funny and entertaining with his diction. You learn a lot too!
