Compassionate and understanding. Looks at you and really listens. She served as my surrogate advisor even though she has plenty advisees of her own. Also, she is one smart woman. She accepts late assignments, but she will know if you're not putting in the effort. But being in class with her will make you want to explore, learn, and create.

As noted, Wendy is wonderful, friendly and therapeutic. Less commonly discussed, is that she is very, very smart and astute, and has a lot of valuable, practical criticism to offer if you are serious with her about your work. Class with her can be kind-of rough if a lot of her goof-off dance pets are present, but she will be serious if you are.

I adore Wendy! She's incredibly kind and very straightforward. She accepts make-up for missed dance classes, which is a real plus. Modern dance with her was physically challenging, but emotionally it was always fun and therapeutic.

Wendy is quite possibly one of the most popular professors on campus, and it's easy to see why. She is extremely kind, understanding, and genuine in teaching. I took Modern Dance with her and she was always sure to make sure that everyone learned the steps properly. She also was very flexible in assignments, allowing for individual expression.

She seems a little flaky with how nice she is to everyone, it doesn't feel genuine. Despite that, she makes a wonderful dance teacher and is wonderful with spontaneous ideas for class. Very understanding also, think of her as a kindergarden teacher. She's great!

Best sem professor ever. Okay, we didn't learn anything, but it was a lot of fun. No idea if she teaches it anymore. Our sem assignments included poetry, modern dance, paintings, etc. in place of papers. However, it should be noted - she KNOWS the material, she just is easily distracted with fun.
