Dr. Robles is an extremely bright individual with a will to teach, but more of a focus on you learning the material for yourself, if you need hand outs and posted notes, not the class for you. this class can be entertaining while still highly rewarding. Its easy to get a good mark if your willing to learn.

Time spent in class with Robles is time you will never get back again. His lectures are idiotic, simple, and inane. He is pompous and makes fun of students like an immature teenager. Not funny, just annoying. Huge time waster for serious students. Mark is predetermined. Run away, run far, far, away.

didn't go to class, just read the assigned stuff, gave us the exam questions....first couple of tests were multiple choice, then he changed to essay type but still gave you topics, so you pretty much researached and memorized...very easy class but difficult for some who delved too deep, no point in taking notes in class since not on test ..got an A

Ummm... he's a nice guy... obviously incredibly smart. knows his stuff. but i don't think he teaches very well. kinda random lectures. i liked the class but i thought it could have been a lot better considering the interesting topics we could have touched on.

Wilder's a little crazy, but that just makes he class interesting. There were a million readings to do, but tests and exams weren't hard as he gives you the questions beforehand. The lectures were a little random though, and I'm not sure if I learned anything new.
