Biggest jerk ever. Tests were pretty easy. He has no idea how to use a computer or even turn on the lights in the classroom. When you ask a question he's very condescending and rude. Avoid if you can.

This is my second class with Dr. Radell. He's one of the most interesting professors I've had at IUP. His lectures are fantastic--tests are extremely manageable, too. Come to class enthused to learn and he will demonstrate that enthusiasm right back. I've had a lot of apathetic professors here (Looking at you, ECOBIT), but this man is amazing.

Have to show up for class. Never uses the book. He gave 4 quizzes and they were really easy and hell let you know when they are and what itll be on. Theres 3 exams and for each exam you can use a reference sheet. After every exam and quiz, hell go through it and show you how to do each problem.

Passionate and educated but bring personal opinions in class had questions on test putting down president trump, very unprofessional. Also not good at explaining material in detail. He knows it well but does not teach well very old fashioned.

Terrible professor, his lectures are sloppy, he tells you stupid stories that don't relate to what he's talking about at all. His notes are vague and abbreviated, hard to study. The only thing is he gives cheat sheets for the tests but you could copy your notes and quizzes onto your cheat sheet and he'd find a way to make something up out of thin air, do not take this man if you want to get a good grade or even understand economics

Professor Radell was an interesting professor. He is very passionate about Economics and politics which is refreshing. During exams he allows you to have a reference sheet which helps tremendously. He takes attendance so make sure you go to class. Read the textbook, practice the math, and you will be fine.

I'm crediting Dr. Radell for exciting me about macroeconomics. He's an excellent professor- very straightforward. He's a stickler about attendance- show up, or you'll lose percentage points. Grading was 75% for exams (final included) and 25% for quizzes, so good scores are necessary. He's just an all-around, great professor. Would take again.

Confusing professor. I never did go to his office hours though. Says you need the book, but also teaches basically everything that's in the book and reading it was pointless. AT LEAST he did for the first half of the semester. Then, he changes his style and teaches opposite of that. Does a lot of rambling, and wastes a lot of time on role call.

Radell was one of the best professors I've had the chance to learn from. He is informative, concise, and most of all he really enjoys his area of study. I am a Finance major and if I had been lucky enough to have him earlier in my education I would have switched to Econ and Math immediately.

Fantastic professor. Holds study sessions for 2 hours the night before exams. Extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable, alot of the statistics he uses in class he made and calculated himself. Really nice, tells real life stories to help understand topics.

Really a great professor. He had study sessions before exams and if you pay attention, you should have no problems passing the course. Very laid back and if you have a question, he will make a real world example so it's actually understandable.

Very intelligent when it comes to economics. Combines his many stories with the lectures which can be confusing if you aren't paying attention. Attendance isn't mandatory and it's a pretty easy class

attendance isnt mandatory but he takes attendance every day. overall a good teacher, likes to talk a lot, lots of stories and lots of lecturing. a lot of reading assignments for econ 343. he doesnt stress importance between his random side stories and the actual lecture so its hard to know whats on the test. tests are open book open note all essay

Explains theory through stories, some of which are not easy to follow. Allowed employees students to miss classes without any apparent repercussion. Didn't use a book - most materials available via internet or were handouts. Provided much more information than was tested.

Dr. Radell is rather long winded at times, but everything he mentions is used to get the point across. I had him this past semester and enjoyed the class. I would take another class if offered.

If you don't like feeling confused 90% of the time, don't take him. He moved too fast for my liking, and his tests were pretty hard. But as long as you study and try to pay attention you should get at least a B since he curves most quizzes and exams.
