this class is INCREDIBLY easy. honestly the easiest class ive ever taken in my entire life. i would absolutely recommend this class to anyone. dr. clark is so kind and understands how stressful college is, as long as you remember to do the exams in pen and not pencil he will be one of the nicest people youve ever met.

Dr. Clark is the most caring professor I've ever had. There are three open-ended tests and one essay. Honestly, I stopped reading after the first test, but that's because I went to class every day and took great notes. He will get discouraged and be sad if you admit that you aren't reading. The tests are easy if you study your notes.

Prof Clark is a sweetheart, he cares a lot about American Literature and knows even more which makes his lectures diverse and pretty interesting. He is old school is isn't great with technology (so no e-campus) doesn't like the microphone (so sit close) and is best in face to face meetings. You have to read--but take Clark!

Great professor. Tests were incredibly easy as long as you listened to the lectures and took notes. The lectures are detailed enough to where you don't have to do the readings, but do them anyway because he gets sad if you don't. Extremely willing to help, but you shouldn't expect him to be a pushover. He expects you to put effort into the class.

Dr. Clark is one of the best professors I've ever had. He's super caring and makes lectures really interesting. I was nervous about the class but he made it super interesting and adds humor into his lectures! Mandatory attendance but the tests are easy if you go to the lectures and take good notes. Would take his class again in a heartbeat!

Dr. Clark is the best English Professor I have ever taken. Attendance is mandatory; however, it will greatly benefit you because the lectures will discuss how to prepare for his exams. As long as you pay attention in class and do the reading assignments you will be able to pass with a high grade.

All of his lectures are very interesting and entertaining. As a person, Dr. Clark is very approachable. The textbook is required but he gives you a good summary of all readings, so there's really no point in reading. The tests are really easy as long as you pay attention in class and take good notes. The test are 20 short answers on class vocab.

Dr. Clark is one of the best teachers at A&M! I though his lectures were amazing because he is so knowledgeable. His class only has 3 test which are fair if you listen in class. Dr. Clark is SO knowledgeable! I absolutely loved his class because he is so interesting and entertaining. Class participation is SUPER important to him. He definitely grades you on it so don't be afraid to interject regularly. He's very open to responses so don't worry about sounding stupid. He's very chill, but be on time to class.

totally awesome class...really helpful, will read papers early and if he likes then he pulls out the gradebook and writes it down right then...even if it's not perfect, really loves to teach
