William Brown is a good human being and cares about his students passing. However, his tests are WAYYY to specific and even if you read the book and study, they are extremely hard to pass. He does offer extra credit at the end of the semester to help make you pass, but without knowing that, his class is very stressful.

Brown is the best HR professor eveeer. He is so laid back and his classes are doable. In the end we have a big team assignment to do and it lasts like a month during class. Definitely take him for any class, he's amazing

The entire class is comprised of 4 Tests based on the textbook. Unless you read the book you will FAIL. He does however offer extra credit and tries to get everyone to pass. If you are on the cusp of failing he will bump you to a passing grade. He is cool thot way. he is very knowledgeable and is funny in a corny way.

He was a good teacher, and I would take him again. He is from the corporate world, so he actually knows what he is talking about. Many of his lectures have anecdotes that help you to remember the material. However, you must read, and the tests are pretty hard. Honestly, a harder teacher that I have taken but not the worst.

Dr. Brown is a great guy. This was probably the most I have had to work to receive what I expect to be a mediocre grade though. If you're good at studying for and taking multiple choice tests and are okay with them being the only things that make up your grade, Dr. Brown is an excellent choice.

There are four exams throughout the semester, and the average of those grades is your final grade for the course. Prof. Brown is very funny, and gives great examples and stories that he's collected throughout his life to help students understand each concept that he is teaching. Reading the text is very important; tests are on lectures and the text

Professor Brown is HILARIOUS! What a great guy. He is willing to help his students if they are struggling with the tests (4 at 25% each). You can do an extra credit paper to bring your grade up (ex: B- to B). Tests are very difficult, and come mostly from the textbook. READ THE BOOK. Did I mention the University of Pittsburgh yet? He loves Pitt.

Grades consist of 4 tests. Some on 7 chapters, others on 1. Multiple choice very vague and difficult. However if you struggle you can do extra credit to receive a passing grade. Tests very difficult.

He's a great guy who's very funny and nice. The grade you get in the class is mostly from tests. He does not always explain well and his lecture's can be ridiculously boring; besides his stories.

Brown is probably the nicest guy you will ever meet. He doesn't really teach... but his stories are extremely entertaining! I'd definitely recommend as long as you're not an actual HR major.

I have no idea why this guy is still even teaching at Marist, why no one has come across what a horrible teacher he is, and why students come out of his class learning NOTHING. HE DOES NOT EVEN TEACH. I don't know who in their right mind would take him. AVOID!!!!!! He will KILL YOUR GPA

Ridiculously easy course for a 400 level, Brown jokes around a lot, material is easy to understand, no tests, no quizzes, one large group project, one separate group presentation/arbitration case, one midterm essay, one final essay... overall, i learned a great deal from this class while doing very little work.

4 tests 50 mult. each teaches from the book, 15% of test comes from class room learning. So not much comes from attending the class.the rest is from the book. Funny guy intresting, but just tells stories. Hr is a vauge topic but READ THE CHAPTERS and remeber vocab! and you should pass the class easy.

Brown doesn't teach anything, he just tells stories the whole class. Don't even bother coming to class, you end up teaching yourself everything by reading the textbook. By the way, the final is 20 multiple choice that is 25% of your grade. Do not take him

Very funny teacher gives good real life expamples/stories although has a horrible grading policy. The entire corse grade is based off of 4 50 multiple choice that are very difficult and the final[the 4th test] was 20 questions... needless to say doing well in this class is very difficult if multiple choice is not your game.
