Dr. Callerman is a very rude professor with a holier-than-thou attitude. His arrogance is overwhelming, even on the first day of class. When there was an error on one of the tests, and I asked him to rectify the problem, he responded, "It's only three point!" Yeah? Well those three points would have given me an A in the course.

Nice guy. Need to retire let someone take over. He teaches based on his experience form 60s. 70% of test from lectures and 30% from the book. Do not take Bardes as lab instructor she is a PHD student. She cares about grammar only. Good luck with her.

This class was a drag. I don't know how I sat through his lectures. After the first 15 minutes of his lectures, it all just becomes a blur. PAY attention. Filling in the blanks on the powerpoint slides is not enough. Take notes on what he says! tests are VERY difficult. YOu have to know details and scenarios, not just definitions.

this guy is in way over his head. class is good for nothing, lectures are common sense, project is busy work, and tests are easy if you memorize the endless lists given to you in lecture. have fun wasting your time on the project. this is the course that makes ucf business unique?? let's get serious here. anyways... study hard and you'll do swell.

Comment:
The most worthless course you'll take at UCF, besides Capstone. You work on a project to help others, which is nice, but you're forced to do it for a grade so UCF can boost its lame repuation. Callarman thinks this is what makes UCF Business a good undergrad program, but he doesn't understand that 60th in the nation isn't all too impressive.

boring class. The lectures highlight was his incredible ability to bore students. Couldn't keep students attention and doesn't answer questions at all. Made many unflattering generalizations and comments about students and their inability to learn his material. Exams were rotten and required you to memorize pages of info Never again callarman!

so boring. probably better to take the class twice a week instead of once so its not 3 hours of boredom. the only thing keeping you awake is when you get to fill in a word on the powerpoint.

Very boring class. All information taught is either common knowledge or useless. Going to class does help when it comes time to take the tests. Fill in the blanks on the powerpoint slides they force you to buy and study that along with the study guides online and you should ace the tests. Since the exams are 2/3 of your grade, take them seriously.

Really boring lectures filled with information that you just have to regurgitate on the tests. I believe he is the only cornerstone teacher so you are stuck with him. 99% of the lecture time was spent doodiling, the other 1% was used to fill in the blanks of the notes. YAWN!

For lab class, I would recommand Jan Daugherty. She's very easy on grading reports and presentations. All exams are 50 multiple choice, and most of the questions are from the lecture (note taking guide). Make sure you attend to Callerman's class, and study the studyguide AND the note takingguide.

Who ever made up those tests must have been on some kind of illicit substances, there are only 3 tests and they are very rough as there is so much little details to remember. Make sure you choose the right lab instructor as it will make it or break it for you. I got a 95% average on the lab/group part and barely scrapped a B because of those tests!

Lectures are boring, exams are terribly hard, study for sure, I had to fight for an A- just because of the exams, all of the other work is busy work, and you should do fine on it, Callarman is your only choice for lecture, but definately check out lab professors on here, they can make or break your grade also.

Excellent public speaker but long, boring lecture materials. No one could make the lecture classes interesting for the entire duration. Attendance will drop severely toward the end and those people who do show up will be fighting off the Sandman. However, don't ignore the lecture - the exams are a big part of your grade in Cornerstone.

VERY BORING. But you have to take him for cstone, so get over it. Basically, you buy slides @ the bookstore and fill in missing info. on them while he lectures. You will sometimes want to stab yourself in the eye, he takes so long to make a point. But definitely get the notes, the tests are straight from them.

your pillow will need a pillow in this class. Remember when you were 11 and u went to church and the pastor talked in that deep dark tone and you wanted to fall asleep...that is exactly what his lectures are like..this entire course could be taught to 7th graders in 2 hours but instead they stress you the hell out with it...good luck!!!
