If you like Elon Musk, Bitcoin, or Tesla you'll do great in this class. It seems to be all he ever talks about. Also if it seems like your class hasn't done the reading, get ready for a pop quiz. Also if you don't agree with him and challenge him expect to lose. Exams are rather difficult and essay intensive.

This is for the World Campus course: Bill Cantor is not a good professor. His online lectures are long, boring, and lack real content. This is problematic because when you email him for advice on assignments, he typically responds with 'watch my lecture'. I finished the course with a B, but have no idea what I learned except how to make diagrams.

If you want a professor who connects business with technology, then he is the one! Book is important for his class, but he talks about real world and his tests are a combination of what he talks about and a bit from the book. Overall an excellent professor!!

You really need to to pay attention in his class. Losing focus at any stage would mean suffering towards the end. The class is somewhat tough considering the amount of periodic tests he takes during the semester but nothing too tough. Best part is that all that he teaches is real-world and having some sort of 'interest' is all you need for an A.

Bill is by far the best IST Prof. The reason why people dont like him is because he gives them real world criticism! Another reason is majority of people dont have any business sense so they assume he is a bad teach because they dont understand. He does grade hard, but struggle is the only way to learn. Esp in this field.

I was always afraid to approach him outside of class until this semester.I found him to be a very caring & helpful professor that wants to see his students excell. You'll get a lot out of him and these 2 courses as long as you work hard and take things seriously. He means business.
