Willy was such a nice guy that I feel bad saying this but he is not a good prof at all! Can't even read his notes and his examples are all over the place. Midterms were easy, final made you think but it was alright. I would have died without my textbook though. Basically taught myself the whole course.

A lot of people don't/won't like Dr.Hunter as a professor, but I found him to be very helpful. If you aren't cracking your textbook at all, well, all I can say is that Dr.Hunter's teaching style encourages you to do so and as a result you'll learn more about the material. I didn't find the final that hard at all, and he's a great guy to talk to.

Willy improved so much from Chem 101 it was incredible. That said, he's still a below average prof--that's how bad he used to be. Nicest guy you'll ever meet though, loves to help in office hours. Midterms both a joke, final one the hardest exams I've ever written (much like 101). Helpful worksheets. Get ready to live out of your textbook.

I had the misforunte of taking this guy for both chem 10x courses. He comes to class with little preperation other than slides which you can't read, he doesn't explain how he comes to answers, and he just throws out dozens of unrelated examples with no direct relevance to anything. Get used to your textbook if you take chemistry witrh him.

He is a very good professor, but you definitely have to do a bit of textbook reading to understand the deeper nuances. His midterms are very easy, notes are available online and are the same (exactly) as in class. Take his class, if you donĂ¢€™t understand something, just to 5th floor Chem., to his office.

Great guy, great stories, horrible prof. Very unclear, you have no idea what you are supposed to know. Also, don't ask him questions about your test, he yells at you.

Willie is hard to understand at times and his lecture style is different, but I still enjoy his class. He is very approachable and will help you out, so as long as you read the textbook, and ask questions you will do fine.

If the primary characteristics you look for in a prof is that he be friendly and have a thick accent, this is the prof for you. If, on the other hand, you plan on deriving any satisfaction from knowing what the HELL is going on, keep lookin. Quite possibly the worst prof I've had in 7.5 years of university. Nice guy, though.

Willy is hands down the nicest guy on campus. That aside, you'll have to work hard outside of class to do well in his class. His notes make no sense when you're reading them later, so basically you're studying the textbook. The curve rewards the students who are willing to put in the extra effort because those who don't work will do a lot worse.

notes are hard to understand, and doesnt often explain his examples, so look in the text for a better explanation. the midterms were pretty easy, final was ridiculously hard. if he mentioned something ONCE, in passing, know itAND he doesnt have a computer, which was frustrating because there werent enough solution books for everyone.

Willie is a good guy. He's helpful, humourous, and the 2 midterms are dead easy. That's the good news. The bad news is that Willie's notes are a little difficult to decipher and are repetitive, and Willie's Scotish accent is a bit thick. Also, the final was beyond brutal! Honestly, a third of the final was either barely or not mentioned at all.

His notes weren't too bad, but challenging enough. The midterms were fair, but the final was definatly very difficult! He's a good proff to go to unless you aren't doing great in the class, then he looks at you like you're stupid. Kinda funny...sometimes. Just try not to fall asleep in class, and write fast.
