Get ready to write every day. Lots of reading as well, and the materials aren't exactly pageturners. Besides the workload, he's a very good professor who gives clear instructions on assignments and tons of feedback to help make you a better writer. If you just want 3 credits, don't take him- but if you want to become a better writer he's your guy

Took his online MDC 101 class. Get ready to read ALOT... however, Prof. Moeck is a very fair grader, super nice as well as specific on assignments (which I really appreciate) and he is extremely reasonable. There were times when I wasn't able to make the deadline for an assignment and he negotiated with me. Awesome professor!

This class was taken for a credit and this has got to be one of the most ridiculous class. The professor does not let you go to the bathroom, you will be marked absent. He has no answers for his own questions. Also his quizzes are 100% unrelated and irreverent to what you do.

Had him for online class and you can tell he takes pride in what he teaches. That being said he has a fair amount of homework given, participation is a must if you expect a good grade. Lots of reading, however it's an English class and that should be expected. I would take him again, he's a fair grader, seems nice and gives good feedback.

if you want to get a good grade.... don't take him...... he truly thinks that his class is the only one that you have. he is a tough grader and gives way to much work and an over all horrible experience in this online class. nothing is clear due dates are hard to satisfy ALOT of reading I have taken 2 OL classes before, this one was crazy!!

Overall, I loved this professor. He assigned very interesting books and good assignments that helped you uderstand the book better. We would talk as a group about the book, which also helped me understand the book. He is a TRUE college professor. If you want to be lazy, do not take his class.

I think all of ya'll are full of crap and strung out because you failed. Moeck makes understanding the books we read in class easy. The questions he asks in class are thought provaking. Very good professor. He may come across odd, but he does not want to directly provide students with the correct answers, he wants you to find out on your own. I learned a lot in his class. He is also a very responsible professor who grades every paper before returning it to you. I took his MDC class last semester, very interesting class.

I took him for Honors 311 and he is an excellent professor. He isn't weird at all. In fact, he is one of the most normal at NCC. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and actually corrects your papers before returning them. If you want a quality English experience take him. If you are lazy and want an easy grade, go elsewhere.
