worst prof I've had. goes way too fast, no outside help, never in office. always ends class early and never use lab time, but don't learn anything either. lab report was only thing saved my grade and attendance. very pompous and unfriendly. doesnt care b/c he prob has tenure by now. doesn't explain anything, no examples. brought my gpa down

Buy the book and learn as many chapters as you can before you begin the semester. If you pay attention in class, you will eventually end up being confused anyway. He refuses to teach any other way so deal with it and get a D if you have to because that's still passing.

Stats is a hard class. If you go to class and take notes be prepared to still work your ass off. Moyer is a good guy who will review anything. But his quizzes and exams are hard! All I can say is that he is not a bad teacher, but the dry nature of stats makes the class difficult. You really can't escape him, so it helps that he isn't that bad.

Moyer is not as bad as everyone says. He is the nicest guy and makes stats as interesting as possible. His quizzes are difficult but you are aloud to use your notes. Just read the book and go to class and you'll be fine

He's a nice guy but Stats in itself is incredibly boring and he sure doesn't help the situation. He has an awful tendency to repeat himself, so you end up zoning out for the last hour of class. Tests and quizzes are not the easiest, plus a report. I think he's the only person that teaches Stats 2, but if you have other options, take them instead.

Dr. Moyer is great. Amusing, interesting, and sincere. The material is difficult at times, but he presents it in a way that makes it, well, almost fun.. Some poeple might want to slap me for saying that! Regardless, I love this guy!

He is an ok guy overall. However, watch out. Grades don't matter to him, he will give you whatever grade he wants, regardless of what you actually earned. He lets his grad assistant do too much of the work, and his last grad assistant lost my paper.

LEARNING AND MOTIVATION - the tests are hard, but they are graded fairly. the take home quizzes help. he gets a bad rap from stats 2 (which is ****y no matter who the prof is) but I found him to be very helpful

Whoever said he was funny and helpful is full of it. This man is unpleasant, unclear, not helpful and pompus. Expect him to roll his eyes at questions and change the dates of tests and papers...sylabus means nothing! Look out for the velcro sneakers.
