After taking this class with Senor Nichols, I never want to hear the language again. The experience I had in his classroom was aweful. He is a jerk and makes his students feel stupid and unintelligent. He wastes almost half of the class time on pointless jokes. He doesn't even try to help you when he calls on you for an asnwer and you don't know it

He is a good teacher but wastes waaay too much time cracking the same stupid jokes over and over and over again and is always flirting with the older women in our class. He means well and is a good teacher but I absolutely can not stand his sense of humor.

I've taken spanish for many years, and he's by far the best teacher i've ever had. He takes the time, and does whatever he needs to get you caught up to where the class is. he's a great guy, and an amazing prof!

Sr. Nichols is a great and enjoyable teacher. I took SP101 first semester of fall07. He explains Spanish very well and also talks about some Spanish culture. I have to retake his class in order to get him in sp102. I didn't understand Spanish all that well and that is my fault.

Senor Nichols, I believe, is a wonderful professor. He has a complete understanding of Spanish, and is extremely qualified to be teaching. Spanish is tough, but Prof. Nichols helped me very well, and I intend to take any SP classes he teaches!

Great Professor! Really involved in students lives and very willing to help! Showing up to class is VERY important. Miss one class and you could miss a lot! Expect to do a lot of homework--but it's nothing you can't handle.

He's really funny. He tells stories about his travels. He tells funny stories. Ask about the shower story. :) He always tries to make you laugh, so that you enjoy the class or at least are happy. He's a nice guy.

He's a great instructor. He's funny, he give different characters voices and makes the stories interesting. He also has great stories of his own travels. He expects a lot out of you, and he can be kind of a hard grader, but he helps your spanish improve. Make sure you know you vocab for the tests. Recommended.

Senor Nichols was pretty difficult, I must say, but I can vouch for his character. I think that he is a likeable guy, and the reason he pushes you is because he wants you to succeed. I did hate the language lab w/ computers... what a mess... update your real1player before taking this class.

nichols is probably a nice guy, but i feel that in his class, all i am is a warm body sitting at a desk specifically for him to brag to for a long , LONG 4 hours once a week.he never stays on the topic without bragging for at least 10 min. intervals!!!!!!
