Sorry but Prof. Plumstead is a terrible teacher; he is boring and unfair with his marking. I would never ever take another class from him; I learned more from my fellow students in the seminar than I did during his lectures.

Wonderful prof! He does his best to make lectures interesting, and they are if you listen. Has a wicked sense of humour, and his journal ideas make his courses worth while. They promote critical reading without the limitations of an essay. An intelligent, nice, wonderful prof. One of the best! I recommend any of his classes to anyone: work for it.

could not stand the guy. Very boring needed a few cups of joe to stay awake. His feedback is not helpful at all could have been damaging if I cared what he thought. Would never take another course from him again.
