this guy is the man, the classes are never lectures with info going only one way, it's always a class discussion. he's a stickler for proper grammar but grades easy otherwise. this guy keeps everything down at a slow pace, spending more time on one particular book rather than rushing through all the material.

A fantastic teacher with an incredible amount of knowledge and ability. Is great at analyzing and teaching literature and is old fashioned, but is completely open to new suggestions, ideas, and methods for teaching and learning. You WILL learn something from this man.

Can be entertaining at times, a stickler for attendance and expects you to work hard and participate in class discussions. It was his first time teaching ENG 201; the syllabus became an evolving document. In comparison to other English Professors he is reasonable and at times can be flexible with due dates on assignments.

Awesome professor. He's a bit shy when it comes to talking to others and a bit old fashioned with his commentary. When you do class discussions, he will always take the opposite side for argument's sake, but he is not hostile. A really nice man with an exceptional background in literature.

Oh man...he like to diverge his thoughts and go off on a tangent. Sometimes rambles on and on about something irrelevant. Nice man and tries to help you a lot. His 2hrs lecture is only informative during the first 15 mins and possibly 20 mins here and there and the rest is his tangent.

MY GOODNESS dont take him.He gave me confidence thatI would get agood grade and I fell below a B in both classes.Questions he would ask he'd ask me if no one knew andI always had an answer and he knew that.He was in when he wanted to be and spent most of the time out deflating that bump on his head.

His class was a colossal waste of time. he assigns papers and gives no standards to how it should be written. he corrects you by telling you to got to the writing center but doesn't explain why. talks more about theater than class. Ugh.
