Go to the library & watch the BBC versions of the plays. He loves the works IN ACTION as they should be experienced! Yes, he has rules about gum & hats, but if yo mamma taught you anything, well, most folks know that stuff as manners! He's a delightful prof who loves to talk bard. I love WT Liston-- you just need to figure out how to handle the guy. He will belittle you-- just belittle him back, and you will realize he has a great sense of humor. He is VERY knowledgable-- but sometimes just reads material in class without teaching it. You learn more visiting with him.

Liston is a good prof. He will teach you a lot if you just go in willing to learn. Leave your attitude at the door or be ready to defend yourself. Sure he has a lot of rules, but if you play by them you will benefit. He likes witty girls a LOT. He definitely picks favorites early, so get on his good side. Go to class and READ the assignments.

liston rocks. really knows what he's talking about. doesn't always directly answer questions, but he gets to it eventually. pay attention to the quotes and themes he highlights in class and you'll do fine on the tests. dont be intimidated. he's really just a funny, nice, smart old man.
