dederick is hilarious, and you learn a lot in this class so it's the best of both worlds. Lot's of notes, but theyre not awful, and if you raise your hand and speak in his class, even to just b.s. about kids, he'll love you.

Good prof. Interesting stories and first hand accounts. A lot, a lot, a lotttttt of notes. You will write all class long most of the time. You will also learn a lot too. His tests are sometimes hit and miss. You might study something you think is on, or he said would be on, and it wont be there. Wording is tricky too. No homework usually. Great guy

In Dederick's class i learned more than I probably would in any other bio.He breaks it down.Tells you what's on tests and would rather have you learn something than just memorize facts and spit them back out.You take a lot of notes but come to class and you'll get a good grade. Dederick is also funny. A perfect mix of professor and friend.

So funny. Class is really interesting becuase he is so experienced and shares his stories. Three tests, no midterm, and he tells you exactly whats on the tests. Not that much work. Definitly take this class, he's a great knowledgeable, caring and funny teacher and makes class fun.

Real good guy. Makes the class laugh a majority of the time. The class is mostly powerpoints to take notes. 4 3 page papers which are automatic A's if you do them and the tests are straight forward.

I loved this guy. He made so many jokes about the football guys and lots of referrences to his "college days" or his tendencies to drink alcohol. Hilarious. He's a good teacher too. Very thorough and smart. Pay attention and you'll be fine.
