Avoid him if you can. he is absolutely horrible. not clear on his teaching at all. the tests and midterms are super long. This is the only class that i have done horrible in because the amount of work and toughness of material is ridiculus. He makes things even harder. horrible prof.

Seems to know his stuff but seems inundated by his volume of work. He is often confused and doesnt seem to have the ability to stay focused and explain anything. He made the course tough labour. One would have been better off doing the course by distance.

DON'T take courses w him. Reads from slides. spends 5% to actually explain the material. Mid terms and finals are LONG and CONFUSING. Material in tests that he provides you w and # of problems in tests require twice time as a min that he gives you to solve. Personally, I know the material for much better than B, but b/c of his tests I got B.

Definitely one of the WORST profs at Ryerson. He doesn't teach, just reads slides and problems, puts up the answers and gets confused in the process. Brought the wrong answers to the midterm, is that what we were graded on?? Not very helpful when approached. Doesn't take responsibility for when something goes wrong in the course. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

This guy was the worst prof I ever had, half the time he would put answers on the board, and then realize he did it wrong, cross it out and start again, until at the end of the question you have no idea what on earth the answer is. I liked Mr. Marcellin. He explained material, was helpful when you asked questions, and made an effort to get his points across effectively. I would recommend taking ACC414 with nobody other than him, because the other profs teaching this course are absolutely horrible!! Take him and you won't regret it.

I took this course for the first time and passed with Marcellin. Overall, he makes an effort to teach, but its up to the student to attempt some work beforehand. Practice problems from the book, and get hold of old tests. Also, someone hooked me up with the solution manual which made my life much much easier!!
