By now you're used to Carleton accents, cmon. Smart guy but his lectures weren't stimulating at all; just copied notes onto the board. Required $200 textbook needed for assignments and exam (find a PDF, its easy). PA sessions and some textbook reading could fill you in more than lectures. Fair assignments and exams. Course is tablelookups/plugchug.

Good prof., but the whoel wang-to-english subtitles are required. Carleton needs to understand that clarity is a big part in the success of a student in a class like this. If we can't understand what he says, then how can we learn anything at all?

Wang to English: arfa=alpha derta=delta slop=slope Good for peach schnopps. But really good notes, they make alot more sense then the textbook. If you go to the class for one thing, go for the notes.

He is EXTREMELY NICE! Notes are quite detailed... Tends to zoom through the matrial rather quickly. Sometimes lacks clarity due to communication skills. In general, not a very exciting course. Textbook is ABO****ELY HORRIBLE!!! For the actual exam - PRACTICE PAST FINAL EXAM QUESTIONS!!! Midterm questions were modified textbook problems.
